Languages of instruction:

STUDENTS:
1. English (full-degree study programmes in civil engineering, computer science, electronics and telecommunications, management, selection of courses in other fields)
2. German (full-degree Bachelor programme in civil engineering)
3. Romanian
4. Pending approval and mentor availability, exchange students can study, do their diploma work or undertake placements in other languages (French, Spanish, Hungarian, etc.)
STAFF: Visiting professors teach mainly in English. French, German, Italian, or Spanish can also be teaching languages in certain fields

Sports:  Free access for students to the UPT sports centers (fitness hall, football fields, running track, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, basketball courts, volleyball courts, bitumen and tartan tennis fields, sauna).
 

Accommodation on campus
FOR STUDENTS - Places in student residences are booked through the Department for International Relations. Only twin rooms with shared facilities (bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, reading room) are available

Health & accident insurance: All incoming exchange students should apply for the EHIC or contract an equivalent health and accident insurance policy before arrival.

Civil liability insurance: Exchange students should subscribe to a civil liability insurance policy which guarantees the repair of damages that may be caused by the student to a third person, to possessions for which they are legally responsible, or to their accommodation, regardless of whether the damages were caused through negligence or not. We strongly advise that students take out this insurance before arriving in Romania.
