I am a student at the University of Belgrade interested in mobility at the Université Catholique de Lille

Program: Erasmus+ KA131

Partner institution: Université Catholique de Lille, France

Application deadline: September 20, 2026 - 23:59

Additional information about agreement

Please check the language of instruction of the study program at the Partner University before applying and preparing the Learning agreement.

Pay attention to the required level of language proficiency of each study program at the Partner University. Language of instruction is not always the English language. You need to know the national language of the Partner University at B2 level for certain study levels and programs.

The mobility duration for PhD students is 3 months.

We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the language proficiency requirements for incoming exchange students at FGES, effective from the 2026–2027 academic year.

Starting this academic year, all incoming exchange students are required to provide an official language proficiency certificate demonstrating a minimum level of B2 in the language of instruction of their selected courses.

1. Minimum Language Requirement

All incoming exchange students must demonstrate a minimum language proficiency level of B2 (in English and/or in French, if enrolling French taught courses).

2. Language Certificate Requirements

  • Students who wish to take courses taught in English must submit an official English language proficiency certificate, unless they are native English speakers.
  • Students who wish to take courses taught in French must submit an official French language proficiency certificate, unless they are native French speakers.

3. Accepted Language Certificates

FGES accepts a wide range of officially recognized language proficiency certificates:

  • TOEFL
  • IELTS
  • TOEIC
  • Cambridge English Qualifications
  • DELF/DALF (for French)
  • BRIGHT
  • Any other official language certificates

A minimum level of B2 (or equivalent score) is required, and certificates must be no more than two years old at the time of application.

Please note that we do not evaluate or convert test scores. For language proficiency, we only verify that the certificate indicates a minimum level of B2. Therefore, students may submit any recognized language certificate, provided that it clearly demonstrates a B2 level or higherWe do not apply specific score thresholds and rely on the level indicated by the issuing organization.

4. Important Change for Spring Semester 2026–2027

For the current academic year, we have exceptionally accepted letters issued by partner universities confirming that nominated students possess a B2 level of proficiency.

However, beginning with nominations for the Spring Semester 2026–2027, this will no longer be accepted.

5. What Will No Longer Be Accepted

❌ Letters issued by partner universities confirming a student's language level.

6. What Will Be Required

✅ An official language proficiency certificate with a minimum B2 level uploaded by the student as part of the application process.

7. Application Eligibility

Please note that FGES will only be able to process applications that include the required language certificate. Unfortunately, applications submitted without an official certificate of language proficiency cannot be accepted.
